Stocks Reservoir is surrounded by the forest of Bowland near to the village of Slaidburn in Lancashire. The 360 acre reservoir boasts beautiful scenery and is stocked twice each week. One of the reasons for the popularity of this fly fishery in Lancashire is the specimen Rainbow Trout. With Brown Trout and Blue Trout also in abundance there are many reasons to enjoy one of the most highly regarded fisheries in northern England.
I am going to Stocks Reservoir in the near future and am keen for any tips or suggestions.
